Data types
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Replay/session | Recorded material that can reopen in the editor. |
| Capture Hub clip | Saved highlight or extracted clip. |
| Export | Final video, GIF or PNG sequence. |
| Animation library | Reusable .franim actor clips. |
| Config | User preferences and UI state. |
02
Config
Configuration uses a flashreplay folder and flashreplay.json under the Minecraft profile config. It stores recording, interface, export, keyframe, movement, marker and internal preferences.
03
Recovery
- If the client closes during recording, reopen the profile and check recovery screens or Capture Hub.
- Do not manually delete segments or temporary files before attempting recovery.
- For important clips, export or duplicate them before cleanup.
04
Recommended backups
- Back up replay/clip folders before major modpack updates.
- Back up
.franimfiles if you build an animation library. - Back up export profiles if you use production presets.
