What actors are

Actors are controllable puppets inside the replay. They can represent players, mobs or NPCs and help rebuild movement, roleplay scenes, poses, actions and shots that were not perfect in the original recording.

An actor can be inserted as a new puppet or used as an override for a recorded entity.

Main tabs

Write mode

  • Static: writes the transform into the actor static pose.
  • Keyframe: writes the transform as a keyframe at the current tick.
  • Offset: reserved for a planned offset target; use Static or Keyframe in the current build.

Performance clips

  1. Select an actor.
  2. Press Record Performance Clip.
  3. Move the camera as the motion controller.
  4. Stop performance recording.
  5. Review the clip and apply it to the actor or save it.
  6. Use To Library to create a reusable .franim file.

Equipment and item picker

The item picker renders items from real game assets. You can search, filter namespace, use categories and reuse Recent items. Complex components, enchantments and trims are future-facing when not present in the current control.
